Students whose parents are more involved with their schooling tend to complete higher levels of education and are more likely to graduate from high school than peers whose parents are not so involved. They may begin with the best of intentions, but when the task no longer gives immediate reward, they lose interest by announcing “this is boring”. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
